Starting next week, Group Qi Gong classes!
STARTING JULY 7TH: EARLY MORNING DROP-IN GROUP CLASSES FOR QI GONG (SELF-HEALTH ENERGY WORK EXERCISE) WILL BE HELD TWICE PER WEEK ON WEDNESDAYS AND SATURDAYS FROM 8:30-10:00 AM. THESE GROUPS WILL BE IN THE YARD NEXT TO THE OFFICE, FACING ST FERDINAND STREET, AND WILL BE DONATION-BASED ($20 SUGGESTED DONATION)—NO-ONE TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS!
IMPORTANT NOTE: LIGHT RAIN WILL NOT AFFECT THE GROUP! HOWEVER, SINCE THE CLASSES WILL BE OUTSIDE, BRING ANY CLOTHING YOU WILL NEED TO STAY DRY AND COMFORTABLE IF IT’S DRIZZLING. QI GONG IS A SLOW-MOVING, RELAXING YET ENERGIZING EXERCISE SIMILAR IN WAYS TO TAI QI. THESE GROUP CLASSES ARE APPROPRIATE FOR ALL PEOPLE AT ANY EXPERIENCE LEVEL . QI GONG EXERCISE IS EASILY ADAPTED FOR FOLKS WITH DIFFERENT ABILITIES, FOR EXAMPLE IF ONE IS LESS FLEXIBLE, PARAPLEGIC, ETC.
CHILDREN EIGHT YEARS AND OLDER ARE WELCOME, BUT THERE WILL BE NO CHILD CARE PROVIDED, SO PLEASE ONLY HAVE ALONG CHILDREN WITH THE PATIENCE AND DESIRE TO FOLLOW ALONG!
